Paramilitary presence reported in coastal town of Tumaco

After hundreds of people were forced to flee to Venezuela after paramilitary groups began to intensify their preence in northeastern Colombia, in the Southwestern town of Tumaco a series of sighting of paramilitaries was reported.
In one village between 50 and 80 armed and uniformed paramilitaries have set up base and similarly another 40 paramilitaries have located themselves in another village. They have said that they are part of the Urabeños.
In another village 30 members of a paramilitary group calling themselves Los Negritos have been sighted.
