292 FARC combatants who were moved to the Chiquinquira prison two hours from the capital Bogota remain without any clarification of their situation. After the passing of the Amnesty Law it was expected that those prisoners who will be given an amnesty would be released and the others would travel to the transitory zones where the other FARC combatants are currently concentrated.
There has however been minimal advancement in the process of reviewing the cases. A similar situation has occurred in the prisons in Boyaca and Normandia.
An official list suggests that there is a total of 3,353 FARC prisoners in Colombian prisoners, so far only five have been released as part of the Amnesty Law.
